2008 Asotin County Fair
Here are pictures and videos that the Extension office captured at the 2008 Asotin County Fair.
We realize that some of them are not the best quailty and the videos are shaky but we thought "something" was better than "nothing". We hope you enjoy them and are welcome to save any that you like to your hard drive.
If you have some photos from the Fair that you would like to share, please email them to pbrowning@co.asotin.wa.us. A caption of who, what and when would be appreciated.
We are always looking for photos to add to our site. We would still like to see each club page have photos.
Congratulations to all the participants at the Asotin County Fair!!

Below is a poem DePaul Blunt wrote for his class at school. His mom, Kopper, was kind enough to share it with us. We thought it was too cute not to share with our viewers.... The Livestock Sale I’m waiting and waiting to sell my steer. I don’t even have a glass or root beer. I am sitting and sitting with nothing to do. I’m tire and tired of listening to cows moo. I’m thinking and thinking of all the money I could get. And I’m thinking and thinking of what I can do with it. I hear my name called by the sales engineer, “DePaul, DePaul your next to sell your fine steer.” As I walked in the sales ring happy as can be The auctioneer says one dollar, two dollar, three. I walked to my car and turned and said, “Bye.” And I was thinking and thinking of how he might die. By DePaul Blunt |
