Performing Arts Project

Age Groups: All
Objectives Develop an appreciation of one's talents
Determine appropriate goals for a talent project
Develop new skills, self-confidence, and poise

Clowning Project

Age Groups: All
Objectives Apply clown makeup
Use clown costumes, props, and etiquette to communicate
Perform skits, pantomime, puppetry, ventriloquism, and balloon artistry

Theatre Arts Project

Age Groups: Junior, Intermediate, Senior
Objectives Learn elements and skills of acting, puppetry, and statecraft
Practice script writing, designing, and directing
Compare and integrate art forms
Develop an understanding of context: analyze, evaluate, and construct meaning
Practice planning, organizing, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Develop and understanding of self and others
