Master Gardener / Horticulture Training

Become a Master Gardener

Training will be held Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., January 15 through April 22, 2008.

Classes are 4 hours in length and the curriculum includes lectures in basic botany; horticulture; soil and garden management; principles of pest management; principles of weed management; tree fruit and small fruit production; home lawn care; and plant problem diagnosis, plus field trips to the campuses of Washington State University and University of Idaho.
